 | On May 16, 2010 the Promotion Test for Sport Martial Arts League members took place in Grodno, and on May 22, 2010 the Promotion Test took place in Lida. |
The final event in training season for Sport Martial Arts League members is Promotion Test, which take place once a year. Promotion Test is the original report of students before their instructors.
The Promotion Test (Certification) on Tong Il Kwan Tang Soo Do for Sport Martial Arts League members in 2010 took place in Grodno on May 16. The atmosphere of solemnity and the importance of event has reigned at this Promotion Test. After parade of participants the National Anthem of Belarus sounded, then with a salutatory word the Sport Martial Arts League Chairman GM Alexander Maltabarov has addressed. After Promotion Test opening ceremony GM Alexander Maltabarov has shown the Hwa Rang Hyeong and application (Punhae) of this formal complex.
The Certification lasted about 5 hours. The Promotion Test to students’ grades (8th-1st Geup) was held at first, and then the Promotion Test to master’s degree was held, by its result Leonid Striga was awarded 1st Dan and the black belt is tied by tradition.
In a final part of event the results have been declared and Certificates are handed over. And also there has taken place the ceremony of awarding of the best Sport Martial Arts League sportsmen of training season 2009-2010: Certificates of Honor and Cups for high achievements in sport, and Diplomas for persistence and diligence in martial art studying.
Special Letters of Thanks and Cups from Sport Martial Arts League Presidium were awarded to Honorary Member Pavel Timoshin for the personal contribution to League activity, and also to the representative of Eris Company for sponsor's support.
The same Promotion Test but on Shotokan Karate for Sport Martial Arts League members in 2010 took place in Lida on May 22. After parade of participants the National Anthem of Belarus sounded, then with a salutatory word the Sport Martial Arts League Chairman GM Alexander Maltabarov has addressed. The Certification lasted about 3 hours. In a final part of event the results have been declared and Certificates are handed over. And also there has taken place the ceremony of awarding (with Diplomas) of the best Sport Martial Arts League sportsmen of training season 2009-2010 for persistence and diligence in martial art studying.
