Karate (WKF) - Kata (formal complexes)

Basic principles:
1) Rules are based on modern «flags» system of refereeing, which is giving the staginess and the dynamism to formal compexes competitions.
2) Formal complexes are estimated by eight basic and several additional criteria.
3) The definition of the winner is executed by voting of a judicial panel.
4) According to the general tendencies in the international sports community, belts of sportsmen have red or blue color.

Features:
1) Participants should performance the formal complexes which are based on SHOTO, SHITO, WADO, and GOJU systems.
2) Participants should performance the formal complexes listed in the SHITEI KATA list and the TOKUI KATA list.
