On April 17-19, 2009 the III Martial Arts Olympics "East-West Open" took place in St. Petersburg (Russia). The Sport Martial Arts League Team has won 3 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze medals in Karate Competitions.

On April 17-19, 2009 the III Martial Arts Olympics "East-West Open" took place in St. Petersburg (Russia).

The Olympics were spent in the largest sports construction of a city on the river Neva - the Petersburg Sports-Concert Complex, having collected over 7 000 participants from 35 countries of the world.

Three days on 27 platforms were competitions by 31 kinds of the program, including Karate, Taekwon-Do, Wushu, Kum-Do, Grappling, Kyokushinkai, Combat Sambo, Taichi, Freestyle Fighting, Kobudo etc.

The Sport Martial Arts League Team has won 3 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze medals in Karate competitions.
